IEEE TryEngineering STEM Grant Program

A grant program that provides funding to IEEE volunteers and IEEE organizational units to support pre-university STEM outreach activities. Grants fund implementation costs such as materials, venue fees and supplies and are intended for programs that introduce school-aged children to engineering and related fields. Multiple funding levels are available and specific IEEE societies provide targeted support for projects in their fields of interest.

Monetary grants at specified funding levels to cover outreach program costs (materials, venue, supplies); opportunity to receive funds upfront via IEEE Section or by reimbursement.

Any IEEE member may apply; IEEE organizational units may apply for various levels of funding. Organizations that are not a division of IEEE are not eligible.

IEEE members apply through the program’s application process (details and evaluation by the Pre-University Education Coordinating Committee). Selected applicants may receive funds via their IEEE Section or reimbursement through IEEE Concur.
