The International Mozart Competition is a major biennial music competition focused on the works of W.A. Mozart, held in Salzburg and traditionally covering categories such as violin, piano, singing and string quartet. The 2026 edition includes live rounds and a final concert with the Academy Orchestra of the Mozarteum University. Preliminary participation may be via online video submission and live rounds are held at the Mozarteum University venues in Salzburg. The competition awards monetary prizes and additional awards to winners.

Musicians of all nations born between 1994 and 2010 are eligible to apply (violin category).
