AP2’s Prize in Finance and Sustainability

An annual prize awarded for a candidate or master thesis that combines finance and sustainability. It is intended for students whose thesis is relevant to investors and integrates finance models/theories with sustainability issues. The award recognizes academic quality and relevance and includes a monetary prize for the author(s). A jury from Gothenburg University, Chalmers University of Technology and AP2 assesses nominations and selects the winner.

Monetary prize of SEK 30 000 (divided equally among co-authors) and formal recognition by AP2.

Eligible are students at Gothenburg University with a thesis rated VG (pass with distinction) or students from Chalmers University of Technology with a thesis of pass with distinction quality; only theses graded in 2025 or 2026 may be nominated.

Send the thesis, a transcript of record showing the thesis grade (VG) and a signed GDPR consent form by email to Åsa Trouvé Raa (asa.trouveraa@ap2.se) by 2026-06-30. If the thesis is not yet registered in Ladok by that date, the transcript may be submitted by 2026-07-15.
