China Mainland Student Design Competition

A national student design competition focused on creating durable fashion using real cattle leather to counter fast fashion. Entrants submit original designs in apparel, footwear or accessories, with entries judged on individuality, conceptualisation, relevance, sustainability and commerciality. The competition requires entries to be at least 50% cattle leather by surface area and prohibits fur or exotic skins. Submissions include summaries in English & Chinese, mood boards, sketches, material lists and an optional short video.

Shortlisted works can be sampled and photographed by a professional photography team.
