The Australian Science Olympiads is a staged science extension programme for highly motivated senior students in Australian high schools, covering Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Environmental Science and Physics. Students compete in national ASO Exams, may be invited to discipline-specific Summer Schools, and top performers can be selected to represent Australia at the International Science Olympiads. Exams are conducted annually and include both device-hosted and pen-and-paper formats depending on discipline.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Australian high school students, ideally from Years 9–12; students must be 15 years or above at 1 January in the same year of the ASO Summer School. Specific year-12 completion rules apply by discipline (Biology, Chemistry and Physics: must not have completed Year 12 at time of Summer School; Earth & Environmental Science: students who completed Year 12 in the year prior to Summer School are eligible).
