Wyszehradzki Program Stypendialny / Visegrad Scholarship 2026

The Visegrad Scholarship is an academic mobility scholarship enabling studies and research at higher education institutions within the Visegrad Group, Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries. Support is available for study and research periods of 1–2 semesters for full-time master students and for doctoral/postdoctoral researchers or holders of a master's degree conducting independent research. Financial support is awarded both to selected scholars and to the host institution. Applications are open for the 2026 edition.

Scholarship of 3,500 EUR per semester for selected scholars and 2,000 EUR per semester to the host institution.

Applicant's country of citizenship, permanent residence and home institution must be different from the host institution country; the applicant's previous higher education degree must have been completed in a different country than the one they apply to; the chosen host institution must be at least 150 km from the applicant's permanent residence; the entire scholarship period must be spent at the host institution.

Candidates apply through the International Visegrad Fund application process before the stated deadline.
