A summer school for PhD students and early-career researchers focused on applying state-of-the-art AI methods in research. It includes expert lectures, hands-on sessions and best-practice sessions covering topics such as Generative AI, Explainability, Simulation-based Inference, Agentic AI, Robustness, Vision-Language Models, Self-Supervised Learning, Knowledge Integration and Causality. Participants are expected to have a solid understanding of core machine learning concepts. The programme runs at Mathematikon, Heidelberg University and includes a conference dinner and coffee breaks.

Applications are open to doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists; applicants may come from any scientific discipline.
