An intensive interdisciplinary summer school on land-use and land-cover change that integrates Earth observation, spatial data integration and modelling with analysis of actors, policies and governance. It targets practical skills in remote sensing, spatial modelling, agent-based scenarios and participatory research methods. The programme includes field excursions, hands-on sessions with tools such as QGIS and Google Earth Engine, group research projects and synthesis. Successful participants receive a certificate and 2 ECTS.
