A competitive early-career research fellowship for physicists working in Germany, administered by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation. The fellowship provides flexible research funding to enable independent research projects and career development. Awards support physics and related interdisciplinary scientific work and are intended for researchers who have completed a PhD within six years. Up to five fellowships are awarded each year.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must hold a PhD in physics or a related field, be employed at a German university or research institution, be within six years of completing their doctorate, and be nominated by institutional leadership. Self-employed or external applicants are not eligible.
Candidature
Institutional nomination by a university dean or research institution; institutions prepare a nomination package and submit required documents combined into a single PDF via the specified submission email for evaluation by the foundation.
