Growing Roots Grant 2026

The Growing Roots Grant 2026 provides funding per group for new and emerging projects that seek to improve lives in communities affected by climate change, accompanied by ongoing mentorship. Grants are intended for grassroots youth-led initiatives and support work in three focus areas: dialogue and narrative building, advocacy-oriented initiatives, and community autonomy. Up to $10,000 USD per group is available for new and emerging projects.

Funding up to $10,000 USD per group plus ongoing mentorship.

Open to grassroots youth-led initiatives from Global South regions, including the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific, and to diaspora and BIPOC communities in Global North countries. Your group/organization does not need to be legally registered to apply.
