The UNNF OALOS Fellowship provides mid-level government officials and other mid-level professionals from developing States with advanced training on ocean affairs and the law of the sea, including related disciplines such as marine science. Fellows conduct individual research under academic supervision and develop a written thesis on a topic they select, with a two-phase nine-month programme spanning training in New York and a research placement at a host institution.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be between 25 and 45 years old, hold at least a first university degree, demonstrate ability to undertake advanced academic research, be a national of a developing State, and be a mid-level government official or mid-level professional working on ocean affairs and/or the law of the sea.
