The Global Africa Gateway Summer Internship Program 2026 identifies and matches highly skilled candidates in the U.S. with internship opportunities across Africa, focusing on fields such as finance, construction, commodities, law, and NGOs. It targets currently enrolled students or recent graduates and offers substantive professional experiences through a 2026 cohort of nine interns. Selected interns receive a USD 10,000 stipend to cover travel, lodging, and other expenses.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens of African descent, currently enrolled in full-time graduate study or recent graduates within 6 months of graduation, fluent in English and another African Union official language, and aged between 22 and 35 at the time of application.
