African Business Education (ABE) Initiative Master’s Degree and Internship Program

The ABE Initiative offers opportunities for master’s degree studies and internships in Japan, targeted at African youth. It aims to develop human resources and strengthen ties between Japan and Africa through education and work placements in Japanese enterprises and universities. The program includes a SDGs Global Leadership component open to government officials and focuses on capacity-building for development-oriented careers.

Open to Africans under 40 as of 1 April 2026, holding a bachelor’s degree with relevant working experience; open to both public and private sector applicants for master’s degree studies and internships in Japan.
