VU Amsterdam Fellowship Programme for International Students

The VU Fellowship Programme offers scholarships for non-EU/EEA students to pursue English-taught Master’s degree programmes at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It is tied to admission to a Master’s programme and is offered in conjunction with the NL Scholarship. The scholarship covers tuition fees, and the related NL Scholarship may provide living costs in the first year.

Open to prospective non-EU/EEA students who gain conditional or unconditional admission to a full-time English-taught Master’s programme starting September 2026 and who do not hold Dutch nationality.

Apply for the Master’s programme at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; simultaneously submit the VUFP scholarship application by 1 February 2026 via the VU admissions process.
