Africa Health Collaborative Research Fund 2026: Up to USD 22,000 in Funding for Early Career Researchers Advancing Primary Health Care in Sub-Saharan Africa

The Africa Health Collaborative (AHC) Research Fund 2026 invites Expressions of Interest from eligible early career researchers to fund collaborative research projects aimed at strengthening primary health care systems in Sub-Saharan Africa. The program supports bilateral or multilateral research collaborations among AHC member institutions and provides seed funding to build international partnerships, develop competitive portfolios, and influence health policy and financing.

Seed funding to enable international collaborations, capacity building, and potential progression to larger external grants; support for activities such as joint workshops, exchanges, and dissemination.

Early Career Researchers affiliated with listed Africa Health Collaborative member institutions may apply.
