Call for Proposals: Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Announces $10,000 Grants to Support Feminist Projects in Syria and Iraq

The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) Regional Office in Beirut has opened applications for its 2026 Call for Proposals to support feminist projects in Syria and Iraq. The funding aims to strengthen grassroots feminist movements, promote gender justice, combat gender-based violence, and empower local organizations working in conflict-affected environments. Grants of up to USD 10,000 per selected project are available to innovative feminist initiatives addressing the realities faced by women and marginalized communities in the region.

Applications are welcomed from individuals, women-led organizations, LGBTQI+ groups, civil society organizations, community-led organizations, coalitions and networks actively working in Syria or Iraq.
