BASE Fellows Fall 2026: Fully Remote AI Safety Fellowship Empowering Black Researchers and Leaders Worldwide

BASE Fellows Fall 2026 is a 13-week remote fellowship organized by Black in AI Safety and Ethics for Black researchers, professionals, students, and practitioners. It provides mentorship, hands-on research experience, foundational training in AI safety, governance, and security, and opportunities to network with an international community of Black AI professionals.

Mentorship from experienced researchers, hands-on research experience, foundational training in AI safety and governance, networking with an international Black AI community, and leadership development opportunities.

Open to members of the Black/African diaspora who are researchers, professionals, students, or practitioners.
