Allan Gray Makers StartUp Academy 2026

The Allan Gray Makers StartUp Academy 2026 is an 8-month incubation programme designed to provide entrepreneurship training and comprehensive support to aspiring artisan entrepreneurs in bricklaying, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing trades. It supports participants to establish and grow new businesses, with a focus on practical trade development and business skills. The program starts mid-April 2026 and runs for 8 months, offering resources and assistance to help launch and scale participant ventures.

Entrepreneurship training and comprehensive support; transport allowance of R3,000 per month to attend the program.

Applicants should be aged 18-35 and either unemployed or self-employed (not studying full-time). They must have a relevant trade (bricklaying, carpentry, electrical, or plumbing) or equivalent work experience or qualification as specified.

Submit the required documents (N2 Certificate/National Technical Diploma/Trade Test if applicable; proof of work experience/letters; National Senior Certificate; certified ID); shortlisted candidates will receive an email link to a short questionnaire and will be invited to an interview.
