Ohio EdChoice Scholarship

The EdChoice Scholarship Program is a state-funded scholarship program administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. It provides eligible K–12 students in Ohio with funds to use toward private school tuition and other approved educational opportunities. The program aims to expand educational access and school choice options by offering financial support to participating families.

Scholarship funds applied to private school tuition; current estimated amounts up to $8,408 for high school and up to $6,166 for K–8, varying by school costs and program type.

Be Ohio residents, be assigned to or enrolled in a qualifying public school, and apply to an approved participating private school.

Identify an approved participating private school and submit the application through the participating school or the state scholarship system; funds are sent directly to the school after approval.
