Dag Hammarskjöld Scholarship Fund Awards

Journalists from developing countries can apply for the Dag Hammarskjöld Scholarship Fund Journalism Fellowships Program to come to New York to report on international affairs during the United Nations General Assembly. The fellowship includes travel, accommodation and a daily allowance for the duration of the program, which runs from mid-September to late November. The program is open to journalists who are native citizens of Africa and currently employed full-time by a bona fide media organization in a developing nation, with organization approval to spend up to two months in New York.
