IRP New Media Fellowships

IRP New Media Fellowships offer up to six year-long reporting fellowships for journalists and media practitioners to work on reporting projects related to health, development, and innovation in the developing world. Fellows receive a stipend and are encouraged to produce multimedia content across various formats. The program supports international reporting from the Fellows' country of residence and may involve travel as part of the fellowship.

Stipend to produce new and original content; potential travel allowance; opportunity to publish on IRP platform.

Open to journalists and new-media practitioners with strong ties to social media communities; applications from multiple regions are welcomed.

Complete an application form detailing proposed stories for the calendar year; a brief telephone interview with finalists.
