UNICORE Scholarships for Refugees (Studies in Italy)

The UNICORE Scholarships for Refugees provide fully funded opportunities for recognized refugees to pursue two-year master’s degree programs at Italian universities, with tuition waivers and additional support for travel, visas, and living costs where applicable. The program aims to enable refugee students to continue higher education in Italy through university corridors coordinated with UNHCR and partner institutions. Each participating university conducts its own merit-based selection based on academic achievement, motivation, and preparedness for the chosen field of study.

Tuition waivers, potential travel and visa support, and a living allowance as provided by the hosting university.

Open to individuals recognized as refugees in specified countries who hold a degree qualifying them for admission to a master’s program and meet university-specific admission requirements, including English language proficiency.

Applicants must follow the individual university application process for master’s programs, selecting a course from the participating institutions and meeting each university’s admission requirements.
