Microsoft Doctoral Scholarship for Asia-Pacific

The Microsoft Doctoral Scholarship for Asia-Pacific is a funded programme for PhD candidates affiliated with universities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore or Taiwan. It provides a combination of mentorship, research opportunities, networking, and university-based sponsorship, with additional benefits such as a cash prize and internships with Microsoft Research Asia. Recipients may participate in mentorship and potentially attend related academic conferences and collaborative projects.

Cash prize of 10,000 USD; internship opportunities at Microsoft Research Asia; intensified mentoring with a senior researcher; potential participation in the Microsoft Research Asia Academic Conference.

Candidates must be enrolled at a university in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore or Taiwan and be conducting computer science-related research; they should graduate in 2024 or later.
