DAAD Berlin International Excellence Scholarship 2027

The DAAD Berlin International Excellence Scholarship 2027 is a partially funded scholarship enabling internationally recognized students to spend a semester in Berlin, Germany, with an internship component and study at partner universities. It targets students from eligible countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia who have an excellent academic record and are enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program. The program combines academic study, cultural exchange, and professional development, including a mandatory internship of at least 8 weeks.

Monthly stipend, health insurance reimbursement, accommodation and other selected costs, mentoring and administrative support, participation in international seminars and cultural events, internship experience.

Applicants must be international students from eligible countries, enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program, under 28 years old, with at least B1 German or English proficiency, and demonstrate leadership potential and motivation. They must commit to a full 6-month stay in Berlin including the internship.
