Mastercard Foundation Doctor of Public Health Scholarships 2026-2027

This doctoral scholarship provides full financial support for the Doctor of Public Health program for scholars from Sub-Saharan Africa. It includes tuition, travel, housing, and other expenses, along with a support network and orientation to students in Toronto, Canada, with a commitment to returning home after the program. Up to three scholarships are available for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Full financial support for the duration of the program plus orientation sessions and a support network to ensure academic success.

Applicants must be a citizen and resident of a Sub-Saharan African country, have graduated from a partner institution of the Africa Health Collaborative and not yet started doctoral studies, demonstrate academic excellence and leadership, be academically admissible to the DrPH program, and show a commitment to returning home for the last two years of the program.
