Latin American Teacher Ambassadors 2026-2027 Program

The Latin American Teacher Ambassadors 2026-2027 Program is a fully funded, virtual professional development opportunity for K-12 teachers in Latin America. Selected educators will participate in an 11-month engagement focused on sustainable development, global challenges, STEM innovation, and socio-scientific education approaches, conducted entirely in Spanish. The program provides international networking, access to Smithsonian educational resources, and opportunities to contribute to curriculum development.

Access to Smithsonian educational resources, international networking opportunities, collaboration with educators across Latin America, and curriculum development experience during an 11-month virtual engagement.

Open to primary and secondary school teachers (K-12) from Latin America; educators from all subject areas may apply and participate in a virtual, Spanish-language program.
