Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists (GRIPS)

The Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists (GRIPS) at Zhejiang University is a fully funded 5–6 week summer research opportunity designed for high-achieving undergraduate and graduate students to gain international lab experience under faculty supervision, with seminars, industry visits, and cultural exchanges across China. The program targets motivated students to work in research groups aligned with their background and interests, and provides access to university facilities and resources. It is hosted in collaboration with leading Chinese institutions in the Yangtze River Delta and offers mentorship from top faculty members.

Waiver of program fees, free on-campus accommodation, living allowance, cultural and academic activity coverage, access to university facilities and labs, mentorship from faculty.

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health and currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with strong academic performance and a research interest aligned with available projects.
