Beijing Government Scholarship (Beijing Foreign Studies University) 2027

The Beijing Government Scholarship at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is a funded scholarship programme for international (non-Chinese) students to pursue foundation, undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, exchange and selected non-degree programmes in Beijing. The scholarship is offered in three categories (A, B and C) with Category A providing full funding (tuition waiver, accommodation or allowance, monthly stipend and medical insurance) and lower categories covering partial costs such as tuition and medical insurance. Awards are competitive and evaluated on academic performance, language proficiency, study plan and other supporting materials. Scholarship awards are generally valid for one academic year and are not automatically renewed.

Open to international (non-Chinese) applicants who meet programme admission requirements, are in good physical and mental health, meet academic requirements (typically average score ≥80/100 or GPA ≥3.0) and applicable age limits specified for each study level.

Create an account on the BFSU International Student Service System, complete the admission application, download and complete the Beijing Government Scholarship application form, upload the scholarship form and required supporting documents under 'Additional Attachments', then submit before the deadline.
