Apoteker Harald Conrad Thaulows legat is a foundation grant intended to increase public understanding of the chemical sciences. Funds are intended to support popularisation efforts such as prize tasks, lectures, writings or other media and organised teaching rather than to directly promote scientific research. The foundation places special emphasis on improving teaching, strengthening understanding of the interaction between science and society, and promoting the history of the chemical sciences.

Applications may support activities by private individuals, organizations, associations and businesses that promote public understanding of the chemical sciences.
