American Red Cross Internship Program

The American Red Cross Internship Program offers semester- and season-length internships at the National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and at regional chapters across the United States. Interns work on projects across nearly every line of business, gaining practical experience with the Red Cross humanitarian mission and service delivery. Internships are typically 10 weeks in duration, with alternative start and end dates accommodated in some cases. Opportunities are offered year round (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring) and vary by location and business need.

Practical project experience, insider perspective on humanitarian operations, paid or unpaid stipend depending on position; no housing or relocation support.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the internship.
