UNESCO Quantum Course for Women Scientists in Africa 2025

Open-access introductory online course on quantum computing paired with a selective training and mentorship programme for women PhD students in Africa. The course introduces fundamentals of quantum computation and is taught in English, with lectures and materials developed by quantum educators. Participants who complete the course may receive a certificate, and the top performers are considered for a dedicated training opportunity.

Certificate upon completion for participants who complete at least six sessions; top three students awarded a dedicated training opportunity.

Open to female PhD students from Africa in STEM fields; must be familiar with linear algebra.
