Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at University of Cape Town

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape Town provides fully funded scholarships to academically talented young Africans from sub-Saharan Africa who are first-time undergraduate or postgraduate (Honours and Master's) degree-seeking applicants. The scholarship covers tuition and a comprehensive package of living and academic support, plus mentoring, leadership development and career/internship opportunities. The programme accepts applicants in all academic disciplines and aims to develop transformative leaders for Africa.

Open to academically talented first-time undergraduate and Master's (including Honours) applicants from sub-Saharan African countries seeking to study in South Africa.
