Apple Scholars in AI/ML PhD Fellowship

The Apple Scholars in AI/ML PhD Fellowship recognises PhD students making exceptional contributions in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Selected scholars receive a paid internship at Apple, mentorship from Apple researchers, conference funding, and financial support for their doctoral research. The fellowship is targeted at PhD-level students from African countries.

Open to students from Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (DRC), Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe who are studying at PhD level.
