Reduced fixed fee for citizens of particularly poor and developing countries or non-EU/non-OECD countries

The Reduced fixed fee is a partial tuition-exemption programme offered by the University of Bologna for international students from developing countries or from non-EU/non-OECD countries. It applies to bachelor, master and single-cycle degree programmes and remains in place throughout a beneficiary's course subject to annual academic progression requirements. The reduction lowers annual fixed tuition fees by a set amount depending on the programme and exempts some standard university taxes.

Citizens of developing countries or of countries that are not EU and not OECD; applicants must be enrolled or in the process of enrollment at the University of Bologna and must demonstrate that family income comes exclusively from abroad; must meet annual credit/progression requirements for renewal.

Access the University of Bologna online portal; complete the ER.GO declaration of family economic situation; submit the application before the end of the calendar year and await administrative validation of the exemption.
