Bourses de voyage de l'ARES

The Bourses de voyage de l'ARES are travel grants that support international mobility for students enrolled in higher education institutions of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. They fund professional internships or fieldwork for a final thesis in one of 31 partner countries of the Global South for up to six months. The support includes a distance-indexed travel allowance and a monthly living allowance adapted to the host country. A tripartite agreement between the student, the home institution and the host organisation is required.

Applicants must be regularly enrolled in a higher education institution of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, have validated at least 120 ECTS for Bachelor profiles at the time of departure, propose a credit-bearing internship or a final thesis project in a partner country, and sign a tripartite agreement between the student, the home institution and the host organisation.

Consult the ARES official modalities during the opening period; prepare the dossier with the home institution's international relations service; submit the completed dossier within the deadlines; selection by a competent committee and notification of results.
