The DGD scholarship programme funds advanced training in tropical medicine, public health and epidemiology at the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp (ITM). It is intended to strengthen the capacities of health professionals from low- and middle-income partner countries and support sustainable development of local health systems. Selected candidates join an international academic environment with recognised expertise in global health and One Health approaches. The scholarships are available for master's and doctoral level study paths at ITM.

Coverage of tuition and academic fees (fully or partially), health and liability insurance, living allowance/sustenance stipend, possible funding for tropEd modules.
Requisiti
Applicants must be nationals and residents of a low- or middle-income country (OECD-DAC list), must not hold dual nationality with a high-income country, must not be employed in a high-income country, must meet ITM academic admission criteria for the chosen programme, and must demonstrate a high likelihood of professional reintegration in their country of origin.
