ISS Dakar Junior Fellowship Programme 2025–2026

The ISS Dakar Junior Fellowship Programme is a 10-month fellowship in Dakar for exceptional young West Africans to develop policy skills in gender, human security and geopolitics. Fellows gain exposure to policymakers, publish research, and receive mentorship and networking opportunities to advance careers in human security policy making and practice.

Monthly stipend, health insurance, accommodation in Dakar, return flight, professional mentorship, access to a fellowship network and career opportunities.

Exceptional young West Africans under 30 with a Master’s degree in a relevant field are invited to apply for the first intake of four fellows.
