FIAS Fellowship Programme 2026-2027

The FIAS Fellowship Programme offers high-level scientific residencies as resident fellows across seven IAS locations in France, with a standard 10-month residential fellowship. It supports research with academic freedom and access to host-institute facilities, libraries, and networks. The programme provides a comprehensive package including a living allowance, relocation support, an annual research budget, and travel funding.

Open to researchers from all disciplines in the SSH and other fields interfacing with SSH; applicants must hold a doctoral degree and have at least 2 years of full-time research experience, with eligibility extended to artists meeting the requirements.

Submit online application with a detailed CV, a PhD diploma, a research proposal, up to three to five key publications, and optional letters of recommendation.
