The Research and Development Pathway (Construction) is a fully funded scholarship program under the King Abdullah Scholarship Program designed for Saudi nationals pursuing doctoral studies. It focuses on research-driven PhD programs at leading universities and research centers abroad, with support for the research project proposed by the student and alignment to national priorities in areas such as energy, water, health, and artificial intelligence.

Full tuition coverage, monthly stipend, housing allowance, travel tickets, health insurance, research funding for publications and conferences, and language preparation if required.

Saudi nationality; acceptance from a recognized institution for a PhD; study must be full-time abroad and aligned with program requirements.

Applicants apply through the official Saudi MOE pathways and provide a PhD offer from a recognized university; selection is based on standard program criteria.
