The Fifth National Conference on Low Irrigation and Use of Unconventional Waters in Agriculture of Arid Regions covers technological, economic and environmental aspects of low irrigation and the use of unconventional waters, with a focus on food security and the water-energy-food nexus in arid regions. It also addresses participatory irrigation management and sustainable agriculture in dry areas, and the roles of stakeholders and NGOs in adaptation to water scarcity.
