The WMI Scholars Program provides financial assistance to students from developing countries who are applying to or enrolled in their first undergraduate degree. It supports scholars who plan to live and work in their home country after graduation and who have a record of volunteer service. The scholarship may contribute toward tuition and associated educational expenses but does not always cover full costs.

Requisiti
Students from countries in the developing world who are 35 years of age or younger as of August 1, 2025; have completed or are in the final year of secondary education or are applying to university or currently enrolled in their first undergraduate degree; plan to study in their home country or another developing country; have participated in volunteer service; have some funding but need additional assistance. Family members of WMI staff and WMI scholars are not eligible. Applicants planning to study in the United States, Canada, Australia, UK or Western Europe will not qualify.
Candidatura
Submit the application form and required documents via the online application portal. Required elements include a clear personal photo, essay, application form, two recommendation letters, official secondary (and tertiary if applicable) transcripts and grading keys, and official national exam results. Selected scholars are notified by email and published on the WMI website.
