Scuola Normale Superiore PhD Scholarships 2027

The Scuola Normale Superiore PhD Scholarships provide fully funded PhD programs at Italian universities across a wide range of fields, with 75 scholarships available for international and Italian students. The scholarship covers tuition fees and a grant for board and accommodation, plus additional funding for research activity, including opportunities abroad.

Open to both Italian citizens and students from outside Italy; candidates must hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification awarded no more than five years before the deadline, and must be eligible for access to the competition in foreign universities.
