Visiting Research Student (Non-Graduating Non-Exchange)

The Visiting Research Student (Non-Graduating Non-Exchange) programme at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) allows inbound undergraduate and postgraduate students to undertake supervised research at NTU for a duration from three months up to two years. Participants conduct full-time research under an NTU faculty supervisor and have access to NTU facilities. The intended research must form part of the student’s degree requirements and be endorsed by the home university and approved by NTU. On-campus accommodation is not offered for this programme.

Inbound students (undergraduate or postgraduate) must be active students from a reputable university; the intended research must be part of the student’s degree requirements, endorsed by the home university and approved by NTU.

Identify and contact an NTU supervisor via the Faculty Directory; research must be endorsed by the home university and approved by NTU; obtain and maintain a valid Student's Pass for the duration.
