Multi-country Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials in Cardiovascular, Autoimmune and Metabolic Diseases (Trials4Health)

The ERA4Health Trials4Health call supports transnational, investigator-initiated randomized interventional clinical trials and studies on repurposing approved medicines addressing cardiovascular, metabolic and autoimmune diseases. Projects are multinational consortia funded by participating national/regional research funders and co-financed by the European Union. Projects may be funded for up to 48 months and must be carried by partners from the respective participating countries.

Researchers from universities, non-university research institutions and relevant industrial research departments active in biomedical research may apply; each application must be supported by partners from the participating partner countries.

Two-stage submission via the Joint Call Secretariat electronic submission system (concept and full proposals) plus mandatory administrative/financial submission to FWF's elane system in specified program categories; submissions require institutional approval and registration in FWF's research-institution portal.
