International Summer School Venezia Padova 2026

The International Summer School Venezia Padova 2026 is a five-day academic programme on Democratic Governance and the Policy Process held in Venice and Padua, Italy. It is focused on PhD students and early-career researchers in public policy and related fields and includes lectures, interactive discussions, and afternoon research workshops. The programme offers participants structured academic mentoring and up to one hour of feedback on their research projects. The 2026 edition runs from June 15 to June 19, 2026 and selects a maximum of 20 participants.

Five days of expert lectures and research workshops, peer-to-peer feedback, academic mentoring, up to one hour of structured feedback on research projects, networking with invited scholars.

Open to PhD students in Public Policy, Political Science, Governance or related disciplines and to early-career researchers and young scholars working on policy analysis, governance, or democratic innovation. Selection is based on CV, motivation letter and research proposal.
