DSA Summer Schools

The DSA Summer Schools are training events organised by Data Science Africa that focus on data science, machine learning and emerging AI technologies with an emphasis on African applications. The programme includes keynote presentations, technical paper sessions, poster presentations and interactive discussions spanning topics such as generative AI, African language technologies, responsible AI, cybersecurity and data governance. The 2026 activity includes a two-day workshop held at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, bringing together researchers, practitioners, industry leaders and innovators.
