Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) — Chemistry Pathways to Building Functional Materials

The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) — Chemistry Pathways to Building Functional Materials is a summer research program at the University of Texas at Dallas that supports the training of eight undergraduate students. Participants undertake collaborative research projects focused on materials chemistry, including chemical synthesis, material characterization, and semiconductor technologies, and engage in professional development and ethics training. The program includes workshops and seminars on science communication and preparation for graduate school or industrial careers.

Ten-week faculty-mentored research projects, professional development and ethics training, workshops and seminars on science communication and career preparation, opportunity to present at SRC TECHCON.

Undergraduate students; the site supports training of eight students.
