Scholarships for shortage occupations

Scholarships for shortage occupations support young people to pursue education and training for professions where a gap between available workforce and projected job openings has been identified. The shortage fields and eligible educational programmes are determined by the current Scholarship Policy. The scholarship can be awarded concurrently with other scholarships except for the cadre (kadrovska) scholarship. Receiving this scholarship does not affect child allowance or income tax payments.

Young people enrolled in educational programmes for professions designated as shortage occupations under the current Scholarship Policy may be eligible.
