DKN Working Groups (call for establishment)

The DKN Working Groups are two-year interdisciplinary project groups established by the German Committee for Sustainability Research (DKN) within Future Earth and WCRP to advance sustainability research topics in an international context. Successful working groups receive funding for meetings (including an initial roundtable) and may receive partial support for publications and scientific staff. Each group is expected to complete its work with a concrete product such as a publication or a research proposal.

Financing of working group meetings and a roundtable; partial funding for publications and for scientific assistants.

Proposals may be initiated only by researchers employed at German research institutions; groups should comprise no more than nine members from at least three different institutions, and be as interdisciplinary as appropriate. External experts or stakeholders may be included.
