Biodiversa+ BiodivFuture joint research call 2026

BiodivFuture is a Biodiversa+ transnational funding call for high-quality research on novel ecosystems, their socio-ecological consequences and future trajectories. It supports collaborative projects addressing one or several themes including ecosystem functioning, pathways to novel ecosystems, and biodiversity benefits and equity. Projects are expected to have potential for societal and political impact and to use holistic, systemic and integrated approaches.

Project funding for transnational research consortia addressing novel ecosystems and related socio-ecological research themes.

Research consortia must include teams from a minimum of three countries financially participating in the Call, including at least two different EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
